The Brief
Remove existing damp inside. Alterations made to current Sitting Room, removing modern partition walls and the existing Porch. New Kitchen installed in the entrance area with cooking island. Current Kitchen turned into a Dining Room.
The Solution
New French drain proposed to main elevation to remove excessive humidity that is being transferred inside. Current road levels higher than the finished floor level inside may create the damp issues. New insulated and breathable flooring considered in the Sitting Room to mitigate/remove damp issues.
